Our Pleated Denim Top is built entirely from individually stitched pleats — every fold sewn, every line intentional — that fans outward from the neckline into a dramatic trapeze volume, then dissolves at its edges into raw frayed fringe. The silhouette opens at a clean V-neckline — front and back — and immediately gives way to the pleating: dense, narrow folds of deep indigo denim, each individually stitched with white contrast topstitching that runs the full length of every pleat from shoulder to hem. The stitching maps the construction with precision while simultaneously giving the fabric its characteristic ribbed texture — a surface that is architectural in stillness and fluid in motion, each pleat face catching light at a different angle as the body moves beneath it.
From the neckline, the pleats fan outward in a wide trapeze sweep, the body broadening dramatically toward the hem. The side panels extend downward beyond the central hem line, creating two lateral wings of pleated denim that frame the silhouette with an almost cape-like generosity. The entire hem — central front, sides, and wing extensions — is left raw and frayed, the denim's weft threads released in a continuous horizontal border of loose fibre that softens the hem's geometry and grounds the garment in the collection's raw-edge language.
