Our Denim Crewneck is constructed not in cotton fleece but in premium denim fabric — structured, textured, with the characteristic twill weave visible across every surface — then adorned with one of the collection's most ambitious handcraft gestures: a fully three-dimensional denim flower of exceptional sculptural complexity. The body is cut in deep indigo denim — the same fabric vocabulary as the collection's trousers, skirts, and jackets, here translated into a crewneck silhouette with dropped shoulders, long sleeves, and ribbed black trim at collar, cuffs, and hem. The juxtaposition of denim's woven rigidity with the soft, worn format of a sweatshirt is itself the first design statement: a garment that belongs to two categories and commits fully to neither.
At the right chest, a large hand-constructed denim flower is applied directly to the body — a multi-layered, volumetric composition built from individually cut denim petals, each deliberately frayed at the edges until the raw fibres splay outward in every direction. Petal upon petal, layer upon layer, the flower builds into a three-dimensional sculptural mass that casts its own shadow on the denim beneath it. No two pieces are identical. Each flower is assembled by hand, its final form shaped by the maker's touch and the material's own behaviour.
The back is equally considered: a clean vertical slit runs from the crew neckline down the centre back, its edges left raw and frayed — a precise mirror of the flower's material language applied as architectural opening. A single black button closes the slit at the collar, the only hardware on the garment, functional and formal in equal measure. On the left sleeve cuff, Crème Studios is embroidered in fine cursive script — the collection's recurring whisper of identity, placed where the arm ends and the world begins.
