Our Reverse Denim Jeans are constructed with the wrong side of the fabric used as the face — the result is a matte, softened grey surface that retains the twill structure of denim while shedding its characteristic sheen.
From this deliberately altered ground, laser precision and artisanal cord detail complete a piece of rare constructive intelligence. Entirely Made in Italy, this piece is crafted for those who find sophistication in the decision to simply turn things inside out.
The silhouette is generous and relaxed — an oversized straight leg with a high waist, cropped at the ankle, cut to move with ease. The reverse denim face gives the grey a dusty, almost mineral quality: familiar as denim, unexpected as a colour, impossible to achieve through washing or treatment alone.
At the waist, a dark navy cord drawstring is threaded through the belt loops as a coulisse, its ends finished with hand-cut denim fringe tassels that hang freely at the front — functional as a waist adjustment, present as a detail that softens the structured body. Suspended from the drawstring on a metal ring, a circular Crème Studios badge in frayed denim carries the brand's script logo: the hang tag elevated to permanent wearable accessory, too considered to remove.
The front panels carry scattered laser-cut perforations — small circular holes arranged in loose floral clusters across the pocket area and thigh — the same laser vocabulary as the collection's skirt, here applied to the most utilitarian surface in the wardrobe. The back is defined by two large patch pockets, each covered by a structured flap (pattina) in matching reverse denim. Both the flap and the pocket body beneath are decorated with the same laser perforation pattern: clusters of precisely burned holes that continue the front's decorative logic across the full circumference of the garment. A rectangular leather Crème Studios label is stitched at the centre back waistband in tan — the brand's most formal self-declaration, grounding the piece in its Italian origin.
