The silhouette is short and full — a mini skirt that fans outward from a structured dark denim waistband through a dense arrangement of individually stitched pleats in washed grey denim. Every fold is permanently set with a single stitched line running its full length, creating the clean, radiating geometry characteristic of the collection's pleating work. The twill weave of the denim catches the light differently across each pleat face, giving the skirt a tonal depth that shifts with movement.
At the waist, positioned at the side front, a hand-constructed three-dimensional frayed denim flower is applied — the same sculptural technique as its companion crewneck piece, built from individually cut and frayed denim petals assembled layer by layer into a full, voluminous bloom. Worn together, the two pieces form a complete look unified by material, colour, and craft. Worn separately, the flower anchors the skirt's identity as something more than a denim mini.
At the hem, laser-cutting introduces the collection's most delicate surface treatment: small circular perforations arranged in scattered floral clusters across the lower third of the skirt, running consistently across every pleat. The laser burns through the fabric with millimetric precision, creating a border of negative space that lightens the denim visually and introduces a play of transparency at the hemline. The hem itself is left raw and frayed — the denim's weft threads left free to splay and soften, completing the skirt's conversation between precision and deliberate undoing.
